Oh, SVU, how I love you!

Law and Order SVU has been one of my absolute favorite TV shows since December 2008 when my Aunt and Uncle introduced me to it. Ever since, my sister and I along with various friends who I have gotten addicted to it, have watched it for hours on end. So I have decided to watch EVERY episode through, somewhat in order. I've begun with season 1. I have watched Episodes 1 - 12 so far, the first half of the season is pretty good. Some familiar faces in there that, at that point, were yet to get their start in the acting business.
I can't say I'm much of a fan of the Cassidy/Benson one night stand, very glad it didn't go any farther than it did. I don't like Cassidy much.. I could do without Jeffries too. Thank god the show improved in the later years. It's interesting to see Stablers attempts at being a family man and raising his children. Munch is slightly too outspoken in this season I find, where as later on he shuts up and says less but more.

Anyways, as for real life. It's okay, few rough spots here and there. Got my grad dress :) Even though me and my best friend have an alternative plan about the Grad Ceremony it's self. My CNA application has been gone for a while now.. I'm getting a little frightened. Hopefully I'll know soon what exactly is happening so I can make alternate arrangements if necessary. As of right now, things are kind of up in the air and I'm just waiting for them to fall into place.
School is going well, loving math right now, clothing is best kind, who would've known I would actually take and interest in sewing. I believe I'll be able to get along find in Geography.. I should be able to comfortably attend a class like any normal student but God knows THAT won't happen. Might as well tough out the rest of High School Hell. English is going fine, thanks to No Fear Shakespeare I actually understand Macbeth.
Love life is goood, hopefully I'll get to see my man this weekend coming :) Work is fine! I always say I can't stand going to work but I really don't know what I would do without some of those people.

Once April comes around, that's when I expect things to get insane. Easter break, MAA Application due date, Junos!! (which I'm super excited for, hopefully I'll be able to go to fanfare and some showcases, seeing as I highly doubt I'll be attending the actual Junos), only a MONTH til prom, schools almost done, and so much more! So I guess I should enjoy this somewhat downtime before the craziness starts.

So today was my moms 48th birthday. Happy Birthday Mudz! and tomorrow (technically today) is 2 of my friends birthdays! i worked this morning and then Mom, Mindy, Mckinnon and I went to Swiss Chalet in celebration of moms birthday. To moms surprise we were all able to be together as a family for over an hour without any fighting! It's a miracle! I wasn't about to start anything and turn moms birthday into a nightmare. The least she deserves is a birthday without family drama. Her birthday wasn't anything spectacular.. I didn't really have any time or ANY idea what to get her! So hopefully I can tackle that this week.. although I've had the idea of a scrapbook for mothers day and birthday combined in my head so I may do that. I think she was happy with her day though.. At least there wasn't any drama or arguments, it was a chill day and she doesn't get those often.

Well! I must be off to bed.. or possibly to watch another episode of svu :D

Peace and love!

PS. The cool thing about the decision I made in my last blog entry (in Jan, when I decided to go to btown for the day instead of gfw) is that once I got in btown and surprised friends, a bunch of us went on a road trip TO GFW! Hahaha :) So I guess I got the best of both worlds! It really turned out to be a great day!
